1. General Policy

Halal Investment Bangladesh operates under Shariah-compliant profit-and-loss sharing principles. Refunds or returns are not guaranteed unless outlined under specific conditions agreed upon in the investment contract.

2. Early Withdrawal

  • Investors may request to withdraw their investment before the agreed term; however, early withdrawal is subject to review and approval by the management and Shariah Advisory Board.
  • Penalties or deductions may apply depending on the duration already completed and the status of the business project funded by the investment.

3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

  • If the investor requests cancellation within 7 business days of submitting the application and before the funds have been deployed.
  • If Halal Investment Bangladesh is unable to allocate the investment to a Shariah-compliant project within 30 business days of confirmation.
  • If the invested project is discontinued for valid business or legal reasons, and after Shariah approval.

4. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be applicable under the following circumstances:

  • After the investment has been deployed into an active business project.
  • If the investor voluntarily decides to cancel after the deployment period without justifiable reason.
  • In cases of force majeure (natural disaster, political crisis, etc.) where recovery is not possible.

5. Return of Capital at Maturity

  • Upon maturity of the agreed investment term (1–5 years), the investor is entitled to receive the initial capital along with the agreed share of profit, as per the Mudaraba contract.
  • If a loss occurs, it will be borne solely by the investor, unless the loss is due to negligence or misconduct by the business operator (Mudarib).

6. Processing of Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15–30 working days to the bank account or payment method provided at the time of registration.
  • Halal Investment Bangladesh reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify the identity and claim.
